I have known Annette for more than 40 years as wife of Alan Thomson. We had many dinners and fun times with her and Dick. She had a lot of spunk and was quite knowledgeable. It has been a shock that she has died. And I miss her.

Dick and I worked together in the 80’s at Buttes Gas & Oil in Oakland, CA. He and Annette welcomed Fran and I plus several other colleagues into some social functions with the Footprinter’s Association. It was clear to everyone that they were a very special couple. Over the years we always looked forward to receiving their annual Xmas card with Annette’s amazing story telling skills when detailing the family news and accomplishments.

Annette was my father in law, Richard Rogers ‘s cousin. Since I became part of the Rogers family , for 29 years, Annette and I used to send Christmas cards to each other every year. She was a sweet and nice lady. She will be missed.

Annette and Dick were faithful travelers with the Walnut Creek Senior Travel Club, of which I was a leader. We traveled many, many miles and always had a lot of laughs and fun - New Years celebrations, dances at Ritchies Barn in Visalia -- many dinners and lunches with Alpha friends - Annette always had a good word for everyone - I never heard her bad-mouth anyone. She was a good, trusted friend.
